Set into the sidewalk outside the front door of our church on Frederick Street
in Staunton, Virginia is a stone into which are carved these words:
THE DOORS THROWN WIDE OPEN,
INVITING ALL IN AND WELCOME.
We hope you'll come to worship with us, so that we can physically throw
open the doors and invite you in. In the meantime, however, we hope you'll
